As I’ve introduced earlier, My name is Hamdan Rejees. I’m proud of the fact that my first name is Hamdan because it makes me feel adventurous just like Sheikh Hamdan who is the crown prince of Dubai 🏙️

Fun fact - My first instagram user name was sheikhhamdan10 (Cringe 🤮)

I have an ambivert personality which means I enjoy being by myself and enjoy engaging with other folks at the same time. This is one of the reasons why I love going on solo trips. I can travel alone and talk to strangers to listen to their stories 📖

I worked as a salesman for a month back in 2018 just to experience what it really means to sell products to customers.

I worked as a waiter for one day just to experience a day in the life of a waiter. (My mom got angry when I worked as a waiter 😂). I like diving into new experiences ✨

I’ve always been a problem solver in different aspects of my life even before I got to know about product design. Here are a few examples 💁🏼

• I wanted to figure out how can I get the maximum amount of protein to build muscles with the limited budget I had back in college.
• In case I had a bad day, I would take my journal out before going to bed and try to figure out why I was feeling this way. Once I gain clarity on the issue I was facing, I always felt much better. (I’m a big believer in journaling and I’ve been doing it for the last 2 years)
• I wanted to figure out ways in which I could optimize my energy levels. So I’ve done a few experiments on myself in terms of diets and stuck to the one which works for me best.

For me, Design at it’s core is problem solving. I don’t mean solving problems just in the digital space but in the physical space as well 🌍

Since I was already solving my own problems by journaling, I was thrilled when I got to know about product design as I found something I could resonate with and enjoy doing it 🕺

What else do I enjoy?

In my spare time, you can see me in the gym or in the football field. I like going on solo trips and exploring new places and meeting new folks. There’s just so many things to explore and I’m currently checking things off my bucket list one tick at a time ✅
